What Do We Teach?
We use both the Old and New Testaments as the foundation for our faith and the inspiration for our daily lives. We put those teachings into practice at home and at work.
StatemenT OF bELIEFS
Starfish Ministries of WNY exists to introduce and educate people in God’s Holy Word, the Bible, for the furtherance of a Christian lifestyle and service to our fellow man.
We believe in God Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son and his Divine Nature, we believe in the Holy Spirit, the gift that God gave to enable His followers to live a faith-filled life. We believe in the new birth, through accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and his resurrection from the dead. (Acts 16:30b – 31, Romans 10:9-10)
We believe that eternal salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from man's works, and is possessed by any and all who have faith in and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
We believe in the Lord's Supper is a memorial to His suffering and death on the cross. These are ordinances to be observed by the ministry in its present age. It is, however, not to be regarded as means for man's salvation.
We believe in the personal, bodily, imminent, and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ and that His Second Coming inspires believers for a dynamic life and service for Him while waiting for His return.
